thanks draxx. i might do that (actually). now i think the AP is
working fine, router1 to router3 (via AP)  and vice connect w/o
issues. only when destined to router2 and hosts behind it (which,
router1 will cross vlan switch). but then i'll look closely by using
tcpdump later.
