Good day! I have already read someone here asked about Ubuntu damaging the LCD screen. What are the possibilities of X damaging the LCD? Bad refresh rate? Safe naman po siguro ang settings ng live CD and fresh installs?
What happened: Friend here have a thinkpad with dual boot Ubuntu7.04/XP working fine. Tested Ubuntu 8 live, and the screen flickers after hours.
