I can play 3gp with VLC but with no sound. Helix can't even open a 3gp file which is weird because RealPlayer for Linux is supposedly based on Helix.
RealPlayer11 is working (video and sound) but I had to install it using the .bin file instead of the deb installer. The deb installer crashes on 3gp. I am btw on ubuntu 8.10. I hope this helps.
