It's inevitable that everyone wants to use Yahoo or Gmail, as that allows them to have one email address regardless of whom they work for.
Unfortunately caching proxies are of limited use if most of the content is dynamic or incompressible. Bandwidth is cheap, you can get 1Mbit for 1000 pesos/month.
