I downloaded the Android SDK for Linux, namely the file:
android-sdk-linux_x86-1.0_r2.zip, from the Android Google site:
http://code.google.com/android/intro/installing.html.

After downloading, I unzipped the file into the usual
directory for linux packages, namely in /usr/lib/, and I got
the directory:
/usr/lib/android-sdk-linux_x86-1.0_r2.
First, the permissions on all the directories and files are all
wrong. I had to chmod 755 all directories and chmod 644 all regular
files, for otherwise, the SDK can not be used, since the files and
directories are not world-readable.

Next I was told to add the following site:

https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/

to my Eclipse installation [Help -> Software Updates ->
Available Software tab -> Add Site], but the above-mentioned site
does not contain any packages. So how do I get the Android ADT
plugin for Eclipse if the above URL is wrong?

What's wrong with Google Android SDK, or with me?
