Looks like a Virtualbox specific issue. I'm running a Windows7 guest on a Jaunty host. Windows7 reports that it is almost idle, however according to top Virtualbox is using more than 50% CPU. I Don't remember this type of behavior when I used to run Windows XP and 2K on Qemu and VMWare. But maybe the issue here is that I'm using Windows7 RC.
