I just got a 9-month old used HTC Hero for p13k from a seller in Tipidcp.com.

It originally had Android 1.5 but after a factory reset it updated
itself OTA to 2.1 (85 mb download over wifi). I was quite impressed
actually, just download, wait for a few minutes and you're updated
already.

There are some interesting Pinoy-made apps on Android Market - in
particular, ClickTheCity.com and the Manila Rail Transit (MRT) apps.
