I see no harm on taking some ca$h for this since you’re help him. And besides 
he’s the one offering ?
 
I agree with minimal or free (and with quality) tutorial aswell, but/however if 
he’s paying to ensure that his job gets done, it would be another issue.

I would do this when I visit our hometown. I don't charge them since my intent 
is to encourage them to use Linux; however, they would buy me snacks (which I 
don't discourage, otherwise, they won't approach me anymore for any additional
