While reading the Inquirer online, I chanced upon an ad on Nokia's
upcoming phone the N9. I was immediately attracted to its looks. It
seems well designed and well made. But there was no mention of the
operating system used so I googled and found out that it is using
MeeGo. Nice!

However, given that Nokia has publicly announced that the future of
Nokia phones would be Win 7, this has given me second thoughts. Would
this phone be able to attract buyers? Does the ordinary folk really
not care about what operating system it is using? The real question
here is that will it have the apps that people need? Will developers
create apps for MeeGo? After all this is a smart phone.

Personally, I would buy this phone if I had the money. It looks good
and the build seems great. It uses my favorite OS and it can provide
for all my needs as an IT professional. But then again I'm a geek and
all I need is a terminal :-)

What do you folks think about the N9. It is not yet out but it is set
to be launched before the year ends.

I am excited about Nokia again!
