Funny, but I've never heard of emacs being compared to a sports car before. vi, maybe, all sleek and fast with no extras. But emacs seems more like a minivan. With cupholders. And an owners manual stashed in the glovebox. And a luggage rack. Pulling a trailer filled with more packages that you might want to use.
