I am suggesting a change for copyrighted, not copyleft software. Capitalism isn't about a monopolized market, it doesn't work well without competition. Greed destroys capitalistic societies. I am not advocating socialism, I am simply advocating a sane limit on how long proprietary software can remain copyrighted. OSS software would not have a limit imposed on it. This change would make it possible for someone to pick up an old version of Windows and use it as a starting point to compete with Microsoft, which would be good for the market. Microsoft is a very greedy company that is giving capitalism a bad name. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
