i don't think you need the old distro mentioned at all in sources.list
to upgrade--my method of upgrading has always been to change those
lines to the new release (ie jaunty) and do apt-get update; apt-get
dist-upgrade.  that may not be the right way to do it, i just remember
that from the bad old debian days (which drove me off with
too-infrequent releases, followed by too-frequent releases...)
