I might be able to help, though my CMS of choice is Drupal.  I'm
pretty overcommitted right now on volunteer projects, but if nothing

Agreed on all points.

Agreed here, too.  You should be able to easily see that the list, and
thus the group, is alive and kicking.  Best way to do that is a
first-class archives spot.

I could see dropping specific details on the meetings.  Or, on the
flip side, we could add more specific details in the form of a
calendar of events; but this would require more maintenance.

I am a Drupal/PHP/JS developer, so may be able to help on that front.
Not so much with design.
