Yeah, I think you're either a KDE or a GNOME person. I'm more of KDE guy. And I 
really like 
where KDE is going w. Plasma. When I first saw 4 on Lenny, it was half-baked 
and I wanted 3.5 back. But 4.3 is 
really nice. 

Synaptic and/or Aptitude don't come pre-installed because they can break 
things. If you want it, just 
apt-get install it. I like Synaptic for perusing the repos, but I prefer 
aptitude as it has gotten me
out of many a tight spot w. its pkg dependency solutions.

I'm a bit surprised Bluetooth didn't work. Sorry it didn't work for you! I'd 
glady spend my
days/nights checking out Linux distros than running Winduhs...:-)
