I tried Banshee last night. The nicest thing I can say about it is that it has a pretty interface. :-( It froze up twice. The first time so badly that I had to restart my X server. :-< So I uninstalled it; I don't need the grief. I've never much liked Rhythmbox or Amarok -- both of them are buggy. For my purposes (which admittedly are not John's), Sonata works just fine for playing music. Gnomad2 allows me to create new playlists on my Cowon D2 (though I have yet to get it to see the external SDHC memory card). --Dale -- "Never try to out-stubborn a cat." _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
