What does "lots of memory" mean? You're being cheap if you want all that for $700. I know you can go out and buy it, but the hardware is crap and it's going to break. Here's what you're going to get that you didn't ask for for that price. A horrible screen, and a weak processor. Why do you want a BluRay drive if the screen doesn't have the pixels? Also, while you could, I doubt the machine will have virtualization available in the BIOS. dell.com/ubuntu is a good place to start. Or newegg where you can dial in the requirements and it presents you with a list which you could use to shop locally if you want. I would save for a couple months more. The Dell Latitudes are great machines. You could try the Dell Outlet. I got my E6500 there and saved $700. 3 year warranty is standard too. You're going to have to come down a bit on the hard drive and BD drive to get the price you're wanting though. -- m0gely _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
