Yes, this is a very salient point to consider when using Ffox. I
tend to have at least 2 instances
of any browser running w. 15-20 tabs open per each
Also, one of the really neat features of Chrome is that it tracks
mem, cpu, and netwwork by each
web session, plugin, and extension. So, if a particular web site or
plugin/extension is hogging up
all your resources you can finger it and kill it. For example, the
shockwave flash plugin is tying up
125 MB or mem right now on my machine.
You can find this 'Task Manager' under "Dev Tools' or just hit
"Shift+Esc" while the Chrome browser window is
active.
