At the clinic this afternoon, Wes helped me regain access to my WRT54G
and how to think about configuring it. (Thanks, Wes!) We also found the
IP address of my WET11. Alas, I am again unable to browse to the WET11's
admin page. I didn't take enough notes this afternoon to be able to
duplicate the way we discovered the IP address associated with the
WET11's mac address. I DID write down the IP address we discovered,
192.168.1.225, and the one we changed it to, 192.168.0.250, but I was
unable to browse to either when having only an Ethernet connection
between the computer and the WET11. I've also tried resetting the WET11
and using the default IP address, 192.168.1.225.

I tried running arp on this on this machine (the one I'm typing on) and
can see the IP and mac addresses of my router and one other computer on
my home network. I tried it with the machine I used at the clinic but I
only see the IP and mac addresses of my router. When I remove the
connection to my router, replace it with the WET11, and run arp again, I
get no output. I gave that machine (the one I used at the clinic) a
static IP address of 192.168.0.249, but I don't see how that would matter.

Any recommendations on what to try next?

Thanks.
