That's the part I didn't write down. I changed the machine to 
192.168.1.249 and was able to connect to the default IP address of the 
WET11. Then, I changed the IP address of the WET11 to 192.168.0.250, 
saved it and closed the browser. I changed the IP address of the machine 
back to 192.168.0.249, ran ifconfig up, and logged back into the WET11.

Now, sometime next week, I'll try testing the range of the WRT54G in 
802.11b mode. After that I should be able to satisfy my wife that we're 
about as secure as we need to be out here in the woods. Then I can hook 
up my ReplayTV with this setup and coil up the Ethernet cable laying on 
the family room floor!
