That's the part I didn't write down. I changed the machine to 192.168.1.249 and was able to connect to the default IP address of the WET11. Then, I changed the IP address of the WET11 to 192.168.0.250, saved it and closed the browser. I changed the IP address of the machine back to 192.168.0.249, ran ifconfig up, and logged back into the WET11. Thanks, again. Now, sometime next week, I'll try testing the range of the WRT54G in 802.11b mode. After that I should be able to satisfy my wife that we're about as secure as we need to be out here in the woods. Then I can hook up my ReplayTV with this setup and coil up the Ethernet cable laying on the family room floor! -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
