It's been frustrating to try to find a 2d image analysis program that
will input a jpg or png (or other type of image file) and run a DFT or
an inverse DFT on the data.

I struggled last night with trying to compile DGV and qc++ but Ubuntu
9.10 definitely has problems with the QT3 and QT4 libraries, in
particular the QT4 libraries do not appear to be set up with the
standard paths. I do like qmake that autogenerates the Makefile.

Does anyone know of any other image analysis program that will take an
image file and allow one to run either a forward DFT or an inverse
DFT?

I am familiar with fftw (and have used it on very large ascii data
files) but I was hoping to avoid having to create a gui translator for
handling the image files.

I am trying to avoid having to "roll your own".
