If you go to youtube and try to play something, you get a message and a link to adobe to download the thing from adobe. I downloaded the .tar.gz version, unzipped and untarred it and got a libflashplayer.so which I copied to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ or similar.
My wife is currently doing something on her Slackware disk (good wife) or I would confirm the location on her Ubuntu disk. When I get the chance, I will check the location where I copied libflashplayer.so. If it was different, I'll get back to you.
