I do have some nits to pick, mostly with the navigation bar. 1) The "Wiki" button is directly below the "About" button -- I suspect that it's supposed to be at the far right end of the bar, but for some reason it's not. It doesn't seem to be related to the width of the browser window. I have a wide screen monitor, and can stretch the window out quite a lot. FWIW, I'm running FireFox v3.5.10. 2) The button leading back to the home page should be labeled "Home" instead of "About". "About" or "About Us" (etc.) is usually a separate page in those websites that actually have such a thing. It took me a bit to realize that "About" led to "Home". The alt-text for the buttons was the key. :-) 3) As someone pointed out earlier, it would be nice if the buttons were the full height of the bar. It would be even nicer if they responded to a mouseover. I do like the alt-text for the buttons; it's a nice touch. 4) The FAQ buttons are hard to read. (Old eyes don't work so well any more. :-) ) It's the 3D rounded effect that does it; the text tends to get lost in the gradient. Also, the rounding makes the two multi-line buttons stand out from the others. If a 3D effect is really wanted, I think a simple beveled box would be nicer. 4.5) The use of the "window shade" effect for the FAQ looks nice except for one thing: it makes the scroll bar on the browser come and go. This leads to a rather disconcerting sideways jerk when the buttons are clicked. I know that the scroll bar's actions are part of the browser's design, and not the web site's, but it's still somewhat jarring. 5) I think somebody mentioned it already, but that map link for the PSU meeting room is broken. It should be <http://pdxlinux.org/campus_map.jpg> Other than those things, the web site looks really nice. A modern and professional looking site.
