You can't - you don't mount the blank CD to put stuff on it[1], you use a tool like wodim, or growisofs, along with an ISO9660 filesystem builder, to write a single stream of data representing everything you want on the disk. For your purposes I would actually recommend burn: http://www.bigpaul.org/burn/ It wraps up those tools and makes them trivial to use. I don't know if F13 packages it, though.
