   OK. I'll re-do the Asus configuration tomorrow using DHCP and I'll get the
MAC for the realtek chip in the Toshiba.

   Now I need to learn how to configure and set up wicd on my new Dell so I
can connect to wireless networks with it. I did the wired configuration and
it works on that. The wireless setup continues to escape me.
