I've recently played with batman-adv, a layer 2 mesh protocol, as an alternative to WDS. But it requires buying probably more hardware than a supported USB radio. As it happens, I've got a couple WRT54G's that have DDWrt-micro on them, specifically set up to bridge using WDS. They are underpowered (not enough flash storage) for the kinds of things I *usually* do with them, and would be happy to sell them to someone that need something similar. -- Russell Senior, President [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
