How many floppies does it >take for W98? > Sounds terrible to me. First, note that all I have is Windows 95, not 98. If I recall correctly it was 20+ 3.5 inch floppies. You really have to like Windows to install it this way. I still have the laptop too, but I think it has a hardware problem and won't boot. I remember it had both a floppy and a CD drive, but they were not hot-swappable, and it couldn't boot to the CD drive. Hence, it came with Windows 95 on the hard drive, with a utility to make a set of install disks for backup purposes, which I did. I have fond memories of this laptop, having schlepped it from Portland to Bogotá and back, mostly by land.
