I copied down every word of the log generated by the SeaTools utility in case I need to send it to Seagate. The relevant parts are the last three lines: DST -- FAILED - Unknown Short DST FAILED 12/28/2010 @ 20:12.13 Long Test PASSED 12/28/2010 @ 20:12.13 I don't know what "DST" means, but I do understand "FAILED." Now to get hold of Seagate and get the RMA form. Thanks to all for the advices. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
