Has anyone else encountered this? I've read a few forums about how the Skype alsa-oss implementation is horrible. Combine that with the myriad of Linux audio sub-systems. What's odd is that even when I'm not running Skype I can't get any other source of audio to play. I don't really care to dig into this mess though.
