I'll let you know this week. I've got another flight on Sunday, so we'll 
see if I have to do a "try, try again" scenario.

I did look at dmesg when it wasn't connecting, but other than indicating 
that it was waiting on dhcp, there wasn't anything helpful. I almost 
wonder if it's a problem with dhcp.

If it happens again I'll try iwconfig to see if that works. From what i 
understand, wicd is juts a frontend to the binaries.
