There are 3 options: 1 (the right way): report this to Slicehost customer support and they will fix their DNS. 2 (the Postfix way): tell postfix not to care about DNS record validation. I don't know how to do this in postfix, but I know it can be done. This specific question should be posed to the postfix list. 3 (the quick-fix hack way) put an entry in your hosts file or local DNS server if you have one for 67-23-35-254.static.slicehost.net pointing to 67.23.35.254.
