I'll try this later. I have noticed that the connection is a bit flaky.
And there is a note on the Thinkwiki about bad adapters.

I get the following:

[jjj@Devil8 ~]$ lspci
15:00.2 SD Host controller: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822 SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro
        Host Adapter (rev 21)

[jjj@Devil8 ~]$ lsmod | more
<snippage of irrelevant lines>
fat 45956 1 vfat
mmc_block 8860 4
sdhci_pci 7871 0
sdhci 18496 1 sdhci_pci
mmc_core 64209 2 mmc_block,sdhci

Using modinfo on the above revealed nothing except possibly the last
line for sdhci:

[jjj@Devil8 ~]$ modinfo sdhci
filename:

lib/modules/2.6.35.14-97.fc14.x86_64/kernel/drivers/mmc/host/sdhci.ko
license: GPL
description: Secure Digital Host Controller Interface core
driver author: Pierre Ossman <[email protected]>
srcversion: CCD55821044FD707FD91922
depends: mmc_core
vermagic: 2.6.35.14-97.fc14.x86_64 SMP mod_unload
parm: debug_quirks:Force certain quirks. (uint)

I suppose I should google on alternative drivers, perhaps sdricoh_cs.
But I'm going to wait until this evening after I try the card in a
Windows computer.
