FWIW, I haven't had much trouble recently for 7pm-ish meetings.  I had
no trouble at all for the October PLUG meeting, after school had
started.  Also, there is good public transportation there.  For a
small group, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  Much earlier in the
evening and it's likelier to get dicey.

Reed ought to host it then!  FreeGeek is a nice last resort, and bless
them for being there, but Reed should get a chance to host more nerdy
stuff!  Hell, they've got a freaking nuclear reactor.  What better
place for nerds to Generate Ideas.
