I chose a HP driver with a d suffix, usr/share/cups/model/HP/hp-laserjet_p2015d_series-hpijs.ppd.gz, and it prints, even duplex.
Thank you very much. I was about ready to take the thing back. Maybe I should anyway. The damn thing only has a "starter" toner. What crap! When I asked the salesman if there was another printer that had a real sized toner like my old hl-1440, he said that that is the way they all come these days. Well, probably a class-action law suit in the offing for some lawyers to make a bundle.
