Someone on the Claws Mail listserve noted my plaintive cries and suggested manually editing the mimeTypes.rdf file, with instructions on how to find it and what to do with it. The mailto prettyName line was pointing to the .desktop file, not the executable. That, in spite of the fact that I had pointed it at the executable repeatedly in Edit > Preferences > Applications > mailto. Manually typing in the executable and its path and saving the file did the trick. I didn't even have to restart Firefox. Thanks to all for the suggestions. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
