What do I have to do? > > Sincerely, > Victor Soich Victor, IMNSHO, Totem is a waste of disk space. VLC is my preferred video player; MPlayer (SMPlayer has a nicer UI) or Xine work nicely as well. VLC should play the disk if you tell it to play the DVD. If not, telling it to play VIDEO_TS.IFO should get you the top-level DVD menu. I'm not a Ubuntu person, so I don't know whether any of those media players are included by default. I suspect that you may have to enable the Universal repository, but I'm not sure.
