I suspect this is going to affect a lot of the local Linux crowd. Aracnet's (now
SpiritOne's) reputation was built on their support of the Linux community and
home servers.

I'm on the phone right now with Frontier. I added a 25Mbps Fios connection when
I needed faster-than-DSL speeds for work, and bent over backwards to keep the
DSL link with Aracnet. It will actually save me money if I can upgrade to a
business class service.

SpiritOne needs to change their main web page - it still says an advantage to 
their
service is fixed IP addresses with DSL.
