Are you using BIOS or UEFI boot? Mixing BIOS boot with GPT can be tricky, and is not something that I have done. If you intend to boot using UEFI, you *must* boot the installer using UEFI. At least that was my experience when I installed Mythbuntu 11.10 amd64 on an Intel DB65AL motherboard. Also, should you decide to go with UEFI and GPT, I'd recommend wiping the first MB or so of the disk, just to be sure nobody gets confused by the presence of any MBR that might be leftover from previous install attempts. galen -- Galen Seitz [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
