Nope. I checked. According to Wikipedia, WPA2-personal is the same as WPA 1/2 Pre-shared Key. The article recommends a passphrase of 8-64 printable ASCII chars; I had 8 and expanded them to 14. They match on the WAP and the laptop. Does it matter if I set wicd for static IP address or DHCP? I'm completely out of ideas.
