I'll take a look. Back in my Prime Computer days I learned how to use a Pink Pearl eraser to clean card edges. That's a bit too big for cable pins. I think I still have some "radio and TV cleaner" up on a shelf. If I sprayed some of that on a q-tip I might be able to get to the pins on the cable. I'll give that a try. I don't know how I'll get at the sockets, though. This is a DVI connector. The cable has the pins on both ends. The monitor and the video card have the sockets. The card is now driving my second SyncMaster through a DVI to VGA adapter plug. No jitters. So, if it's not the cable, it must be the monitor. In the past there have been times when just unplugging and plugging a cable rubbed off the corrosion. I'll have to give that a try, too. Thanks for the ideas. -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
