Thanks, it helps.  There may be a small problem with my printer driver
because some times a little of one edge or the other gets cut off--1/16
inch or so, but otherwise "Shrink to Printable Area" seems to be the key.
 I expect my long-suffering problems with pdf printing are going to be a
thing of the past.
