   I run adblock and ghostery. I keep a firefox tab open to www.wunderground.com
because they have a reporting station about a mile east of me. I check that
sporatically during the day to see if wet weather is heading in (or out) of
the area and learn the local temperature and wind speed.

   Right. Forgot about that. So bit-by-bit (pun intended) the issue should
slowly go away.
