I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 on two machines. I'm working on migrating from the older machine to the newer machine. Update Manager shows up on the old machine with a collection of things, but doesn't automatically show up no the newer machine. I start it manually on the newer machine and have it check for updates. It comes back with only one, which was done on the older machine yesterday or the day before: time zone and daylight-saving time data. When I tell the new machine to Install Updates I get an error message:
Requires installation of untrusted packages. The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources Details tzdata I must have something set wrong on the newer machine. I may have changed the setting for automatically running Update Manager when I was running MythTV on the box, but I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with not seeing all the updates the older machine sees. Any ideas as to what's going on and where to look to fix it? -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
