I'm not familiar with Dooble, but i really like using a GUI mail client (i
was a long-time user of Eudora on both MS Win and MacOS from its early days
until the sad, orphaned end).

i've tried several versions of Evolution on different Linux distros, and i
can't stand it. It feels like a lame clone of Outlook, yet it's always been
limited in its connectivity to the latest edition to MS Exchange. i've
tried using it just as a POP client, and its mail-management features are
woefully lacking compared to Thunderbird. The last time i tried it (4 yrs
ago), the calendar integration was even weaker than the mail features. So,
even though i'm not thrilled by Thunderbird (searching through my 10+ GB of
messages is terrible), i keep using it. It's reliable and handles multiple
mail accounts and large mailboxes very well. Some plugins really enhance
its usability.
