mail.appl-ecosys.com resolves to 192.183.221.155. There is no response on port 
25 from that IP address.

Either the DNS is wrong and that's not your IP address, or Frontier is blocking 
inbound port 25 connections (or postfix isn't listening on the external network 
interface).

You can use netstat to verify that postfix is indeed listening on the external 
network interface.
