I installed Linux Mint 13 Maya on my vintage 2006 laptop. When I boot I get the message:
An error occurred while mounting /proc/bus/usb Press S to skip mounting or M for manual recovery Skipping appears to cause no problems. Googling for this error produced an instruction to check fstab and comment out usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults,devmode=666 0 0 Am I correct in assuming that this line is in here because I ran the installation from a USB stick, and that, since said stick is not there on a normal basis, it is OK to go ahead and comment out this line? -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
