I've owned two Sager/Clevo monster portables (you'd need a larger lap than mine to consider them "laptops") over the years, bought them from a whitebox VAR, and both came with really good manuals containing detailed instructions for adding RAM, upgrading storage, upgrading CPU, etc. You should be able to get a manual directly from Sager. Sorry to read of your keyboard woe, fortunately those machines seem to be built to be user-upgradable (unlike more expensive MacBooks that have innards glued into place). Just out of curiosity, how's the fan noise on yours? Aside from the weight and battery life of my Sagers, the only factor making me reluctant to buy another is how annoyingly loud the fans are when the box heats up. Coworkers referred to my machines as "the Hummer" and "the Hovercraft". ________________________________________ Joe Shisei Niski Portland, Oregon, USA 至誠 _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
