The Elonics-based DVD dongles have risen in price because demand for them rose shortly before supply went to zero. (Elonics went out of business a few years ago.) There are plenty of perfectly serviceable, inexpensive ($US10-15) DVB dongles available, though, most based on the Rafael Micro R820T. Note that many (most?) of the eBay auctions for USB DVB-T dongles mention "Elonics E4000" in their description, making it difficult to search exclusively for those units, if that's your desire. An order of magnitude higher price is usually a reliable indicator that the auction is for the real deal. -- Paul Mullen [email protected] www.nellump.net _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
