Our "stable" router these days is a TP-Link WDR3600. Only about $50 on Amazon and good OpenWrt support, based on a several year old reference design. It's a dual-band N router, with plenty of RAM (128meg). I just bought an 802.11ac TP-Link Archer c7 v2 (~$100), but I haven't gotten very far yet. It is allegedly supported, but I'd like to get a copy of the stock firmware off first. The open-source ath10k driver is still, in general, a little wobbly, afaict (based on not very much info, so apply salt as needed). Personal Telco has been planning to do a PC Engines APU group purchase, if you are interested in intel-architecture devices. http://pcengines.ch/apu.htm The APU devices are backordered at the moment, but expect stock in a week or so. Anyone interested in participating, please get in touch soon. -- Russell Senior, President [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
