Charles, Can the wirelessly-connected laptops communicate with each other (pinging by host name or IP address)? Does /etc/hosts/ contain the same information on all laptops (N.B. I've no idea where windoze has such information)? It would help to know if the issue is specific to the printer's connection or whether each laptop can communicate with the outside world via your router individually or are actually on a LAN.
