Can you try to update the system using command line:
sudo zypper refresh
sudo zypper update
Just in case that you have corrupted update from the past. That is if
the update still works - 13.2 may be out of support.
I do not have old openSuSE 13.2 installed to double check if it uses
zypper already, but I believe so.
If it helps, you can also force Yast to text (ncurses) mode avoiding X
issues by running:
sudo yast
- that is right yast, not yast2 - use Tab and Shift+Tab to move around
the text GUI.
